THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN!

The INCREDIBLE Dillinger Escape Plan will be here on January 21st next year, and it's a must-see gig before their hiatus!! Here's the news from Teamrock.com:

The New Jersey outfit recently announced they'll go on indefinite hiatus following the tour cycle for upcoming sixth album Dissociation, which is due out on October 14 via guitarist Ben Weinman’s Party Smasher Inc label.

Those dates were scheduled to finish in November when they complete a US tour. But now they’ve added 40 shows to their itinerary – and they're calling it their 'final' tour. The first date is planned for the Norwich Waterfront, UK, on January 18. The extensive run of dates will wrap up at the Brussels AB Ballroom, Belgium, on March 5.

They launched Limerent Death – first material from the follow-up to 2013’s One Of Us Is The Killer last month, with Weinman calling it one of his favourite The Dillinger Escape Plan tracks.

He added: “I feel that this song is one of the rare instances where all the members are feeling, and conveying, the same energy from start to end. A sharp focused dagger ploughing its way through thick heavy walls.”

FUN LOVIN' CRIMINALS - BACK FOR MORE FUN!

Chuffed to announce that the Fun Lovin' Criminals will be here in March next year!! Here's the scoop:

The multi-platinum New York group celebrated the 20th anniversary of their debut album Come Find Yourself in 2016, and true to their hashtag #LoveYaBack, the Crims are feeling the love from the fans, so are doing it all again in February 2017 after a massive anniversary year, amplified by a summer full of headline festivals across Europe in celebration of a landmark album that inhabited the UK Album Charts for an amazing 100 weeks.

Fun Lovin’ Criminals burst onto the music scene in 1996, gate crashing the euphoric Brit-pop party with unforgettable finesse. Heralded for their generation defining blend of styles and effortless New York cool, FLC’s refreshing cocktail of rock n’ roll, funk, blues, soul, hip hop, jazz and latin, gave the Crims a unique timelessness that is still apparent three decades on.

Frontman turned Sony Award winning BBC radio broadcaster Huey Morgan explains; “FLC always bring a mucho grande style. In my half Irish, half Puerto Rican vernacular, this means we goin’ BIG. Of course we want everybody to come along for the ride, we wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for the fans. Bigger the party the better, so come join us!”

The Lower East side trio, consisting of founding partner Brian ‘Fast’ Leiser on bass, trumpet and samples and the groups longest-standing drummer Frank ‘The Rhythm Master’ Benbini, will be hitting the UK for a 12 date UK/IRE tour for, as the FLC song of the same name states; a Big Night Out.

Testament to the Crims critical and cultural importance, 2016 also marked the year that the worlds most esteemed lexicographers officially added the term ‘Scooby Snacks’ to the Oxford English Dictionary, citing the famous lyrics to the global FLC hit single of the same name in the new edition. So there you have it, smart people dig FLC, so y’all should too.

FRANK TURNER IS BACK!

"It is with GREAT PLEASURE that I can finally announce some more tour dates for the UK.

I know, I know, it’s been a long while since we were on home turf. And last time we toured the UK we only played the major cities. So, as is becoming tradition, this time we are hitting some different places, taking the show around the country to see some different people. Of course I can’t ever please everyone, but this is an attempt to cover as much ground as I can this year.

Support comes from the amazing Felix Hagan & The Family, and the sublime Esme Patterson. Both hand-picked, both awesome, get down early to catch their sets."

You Me At ROCK CITY!

The rumours are true... young British icons You Me At Six are coming to Rock City for an intimate show later this year! Here's the official news:

"You Me At Six are set to release a new studio album that will confirm their status as one of the most important rock bands to emerge from the UK. The album, their fourth, was recorded in Nashville at Black Bird Studios with Grammy award winning producer Jacquire King (Kings Of Leon, James Bay) and mixed by Andrew Scheps (Black Sabbath, Red Hot Chilli Peppers). It is set for release early next year, more news to follow.

To kick things off the band will play a bunch of underplay shows this autumn. Having gained a reputation as being one of the best live bands in the UK, with sold out tours that have seen them headline both Wembley Arena and the O2, this is a great opportunity to see them in the most intimate settings they have played in years.

You Me At Six have had a hugely successful career to date, selling over 600,000 albums globally. The band have had 3 Top 5 albums including a UK Number 1 on their last release: Cavalier Youth.
