Brakes – All Night Disco Party

Ever heard of a dance track with plenty of guitar rifts and drums blasting out? Or have you ever heard of an Indie track with Dance beats and the continuous lines over and over again? So what do you call it ‘Indie Dance’ is that even a name? No doubt some bright spark will come up with ‘Brit Dance’

So then are these guys the new hip guys in town? Are they the new Basement Jaxx or Daft Punk? In my eyes with this track I would say have to say no. Although I have not heard any of the album so the jury is still out on them. ‘All Night Disco Party’ is just a bit to repetitive just over and over again two lines worth of lyrics on and on again. The music itself is great and as I have said not quite Dance and not quite Indie or Rock. With more lyrics this could be a great track, but it does not and that is its downfall.
