Cary Brothers – Four

This sounds like Simple Minds. And why is this E.P. called ‘Four’? Is it their fourth release? Is it because there are four songs on the album? Or are they psychic and they predicted the mark I was going to reward this release? And who is this mild mannered janitor? (sorry that’s a question from something entirely different!) Anyway, the tracks are well produced, and perfectly pleasant with ‘Ride’ and ‘Who You Are’ geared towards radio airplay, whilst the gem, is the slower more subtle ballad ‘Blue Eyes’ which has a touch of Coldplay about it; but nevertheless elevates them above average! Oh, and if they were psychic the E.P. would have been called seven!
