White Williams – New Violence

Yet another 80’s influenced pop/dance record; this one is overly busy, seemingly cramming in every sound effect on the synthesiser. With this track the New Yorker has just about clung to the term lo-fi; as this does have something of Beck about it; but to form an overall opinion is difficult without hearing more material – he could spiral off in any one of a million directions - he could be yet another Calvin Harris (but let’s hope not)!
