At the tail end of last year Zane Lowe made this his ‘hottest record in the world ever ever ever and don’t let anybody tell you differently’ (or whatever he calls that particular feature). Point is he was right, this is a slab of quality rock from the High Wycombe quintet. Most importantly the big guitars sound fresh. And compared to a lot of the ‘chart music’ the axe play cuts through all nambie-pambie synthesizers like they are butter. Musically this is a ‘Yorkie Bar’!
