SKIN - Trashed Posted by AlMachine on Thursday, May 8, 2003 In a somewhat surprisingly chilled out phase, Skin vocalist for the UK rock band Skunk Anansie shows that she's not as angry as she used to be. The lyrics are quite dark, but is Skin attempting to please the masses and expand her fanbase to, heaven forbid, commercial pop?? The music sounds likeit could have come from any female soloists' album, which is a shame and although this song, after a few listens, becomes quite catchy, but it just doesn't do justice to her amazing vocal talent for which she is renound for. Claiming that she's trying new things, this may not appealt to die hard Skunk Anansie fans, but damn it she's trying something new, so give the gal a chance. Tracy
