Miles Kane, for those of you that don’t know began his career at 18 in a band that achieved some success ‘The Little Flames’ who toured with the likes of The Zutons, The Coral and the Arctic Monkeys around 2004/5. The band split and Miles Kane formed a new band, The Rascals again who achieved some success. When Miles Kane started a side project with Arctic Monkeys lead singer Alex Turner called ‘The Last Shadow Puppets’ it thrust him into the limelight. Kane has since been working on his solo project and he has decided to kick start his April tour with an opening show at our very own Rock City.
It’s been quite a year for Miles Kane. The intrepid rock ‘n’ roller has gone from selling out the Water Rats, to winning over crowds at major UK and International festivals, to touring the UK and Europe with Beady Eye and supporting Arctic Monkeys at their momentous hometown Don Valley Bowl shows. This immense rise has led to Miles being invited as special guest to the mighty Kasabian on their current UK arena tour. Miles has been no stranger to the live circuit in 2011. Having sold out 2 headline tours of the UK, performing tracks from his critically acclaimed debut, ‘Colour of the Trap’, Miles is now set to cement his reputation as one of the country’s most exciting and energetic live acts.
