  • Wednesday 23rd November 2011

Pure Reason Revolution are Progressive Rock Group formed at University of Westminster in London, UK. Their prog rock style incorporates elements of electro music also.

They will be playing at our sister venue Rescue Rooms in November. They are playing their as part of their last ever UK shows.

They have planned a 2 part, 2 hour show, where they will play their debut album 'The Dark Third' in its entirety for the first and last time.

Pure Reason Revolution cite their influences as (to quote their myspace bio)... "ELO, Smashing Pumpkins, Soulwax, Depeche Mode and The Beach Boys all at once. Yet make sense of a vision that brings those disparate voices together into a sound that combines electronic dance rhythms, pop hooks and sublime vocal harmonies with huge rock riffs."

Check out this single from 'The Dark Third' called 'Apprentice of the Universe'...
