Shinedown are an American rock band from Florida, since their inception they have released 3 studio albums Leave A Whisper (2003), Us and Them (2005) and The Sound Of Madness (2008). They have sold over 8 million albums worldwide.

They are currently working on their 4th album and regarding it, frontman Brent Smith was quoted as saying “It’s time to just go over the top, literally go above and beyond what a human being thinks they’re capable of recording. We want to do a huge hard rock record that has a lot of crossover potential, but also some of the most insanely intense and heavy material that this band has ever tried - and see if we can pull it off.”

the single 'Save Me' off of the second album maintained a #1 position on active rock charts for twelve weeks and became the theme song for WWE No Mercy 2005. The follow-up single, 'I Dare You', also became one of the theme songs of WWE’s WrestleMania 22 and was also performed on American Idol by Chris Daughtry.

In 2011 they released their second ever live DVD 'Somewhere In The Stratosphere'

Their most recent single is taken from the deluxe edition of 'The Sound of Madness' and can be seen below...
