The Hush are a Four piece Pop Rock band based around Nottingham, EnglandThe band formed in January 2010 with the aim of writing and performing all new material which would incorporate a modern twist on a mixture of melodic pop and rock music.

In April 2010 Matt Goodall joined the band to complete the line-up.After six months of intensive song writing The Hush had written ten brand new songs and after much deliberation the band decided to do their first recording with producer/engineer Matt O’Grady (You Me At Six/Deaf Havana producer). From 24th – 30th October 2010 The Hush recorded their debut three track EP with Matt O’Grady; the final product surpassed the hopes of both band and producer. On Sunday 7th November The Hush had their debut radio airplay on Alex Baker’s ‘Unsigned Bands’ show on Kerrang! Radio and it had an immediate great response from listeners. The song is still being played on the show from amazing public demand.

The band played their first show supporting Francesqa at Rock City, Notts on the 15th February 2011 to a sold-out room and continued playing shows, gaining many new fans all the time. These include Livefest at the O2, London and Ynot Festival, Derbyshire.

On 17th April 2011 the band’s debut single ‘Let Me Know’ was released on ITunes after the exclusive release of the song’s music video in collaboration with ‘Cheer Up! Clothing’ and their ‘Hush Tshirt’ release. The video for ‘Let Me Know’ also gained The Hush their first music TV appearance on Scuzz TV’s main rock chart, and was quickly followed by Kerrang! TV. The video has also now had over 100, 000 views on YouTube.

In January 2012 The Hush came 1st place in McFly’s Battle Of The Bands competition, winning them the opportunity to support Mcfly at a sold out show at The Apollo, Manchester on 10th March 2012 as part of their ‘Keep Calm and Play Louder’ Tour. The show went amazingly well and the band had a great response from the crowd and from McFly themselves. The Hush have also recently played a BBC Introducing event for Dean Jackson from The Beat Radio Show, and have been put forward to play some of the BBC Introducing stages at festivals in the Summer. The band continue to constantly write and demo new tracks for their debut album before heading back into the studio to record their next single, ready for release in Summer 2012.

In Hindsight will also be playing along side the Hush and co headlining this date at Rock City. We haven’t seen much of these boys yet but they have had some great reviews and we can’t wait for this gig!check out the reviews!

"The most exceptional thing about In Hindsight isn’t their incredibly catchy melodies or infectious on-stage energy, it’s the fact that despite being a young band (formed in July 2011) and being young in age (all under 18), they finished finding their feet a long time ago, and have became one of the UKs most formidable pop-rock outfits as a result." - WAITT Unsigned"

Energetic, passionate and wonderfully friendly, these guys made a performance that will leave the crowd remembering their name. Ending the night on a high, the boys finished with a mash up of a variety of songs, and the crowd loved it. An up and coming unsigned band, In Hindsight are well worth keeping an eye on." - Scorpio Reviews

So with all this in mind get ready for another great gig from the boys at Rock City!
