The Family Ruin, Rock City Basement (As Part Of Tuned)

  • Thursday 17th July 2014

Hailing from York, UK, the electrifying five-piece are a blast of face-melting riffs, thick grooves and rich harmonies - THE FAMILY RUIN are influenced by the modern heights of AVENGED SEVENFOLD and ESCAPE THE FATE, and the legendary spirit of MOTLEY CRUE and DEF LEPPARD. They’re a hard and heavy band ready to conquer the world.

"Let It Burn" is the first track to be released by The Family Ruin.

"I have known the lads in THE FAMILY RUIN for a number of years now and rarely have I seen a band work as hard as these guys," says KBB RECORDS co-founder Ben Bruce. “They deserve to be heard around the world, and they deserve to be known - not only are they incredibly talented musicians able to write some of the coolest rock tunes I’ve heard in a while, but they are all genuine blokes with a real love and passion for music. I couldn’t be more excited about working with them."

"We’re really hyped to have joined KBB Records," say THE FAMILY RUIN of their new label. "We know this label has been put together by some of the hardest working dudes in the field - Ben and Kyle have endless experience in all aspects of the industry and their vision is inspirational. We’re currently in the studio finishing up our debut album for release later this year, and it is sounding sick. We can’t wait to get out on the road and have everyone check it out. Keep your ears to the ground, big things are coming!"

Adds Borman of the signing to his new label: "THE FAMILY RUIN first approached Ben and I to manage them and help guide them towards getting signed and touring internationally - their passion and devotion to their art was so overwhelming and inspiring that they are one of the main reasons why Ben and I decided to start a record label. They are a band whose talents and passion know no limits, and I’m extremely proud to be part of their team. We know the world will love them as much as we do."

THE FAMILY RUIN are currently putting the finishing touches on their full-length debut, which is slated for release later this year on KBB RECORDS.
