…For those that have forgotten or just don’t know, [Spunge] are a Ska Punk band who, in 2016, will have achieved 22 years of playing live! 22, no comeback, no split, no farewell, back to back years. 22 years of touring, recording, goofing off and loving every minute.
In 20 years they have achieved a lot of things that most bands could only dream of, including:
• Playing festivals – Reading and Leeds, Download, T In The Park and many more
• Played alongside bands such as Greenday, Foo Fighters, Less Than Jake,Dropkick Murphys, Living End and Goldfinger
• Having a UK Top 40 single with Jump On Demand
• Being the #1 most voted for video for several weeks running on Kerrang TV
• Having features in multiple music magazines in the UK and abroad
• Headlined numerous tours and selling out venues all over the country
• Touring Europe and Norway multiple times
• Even creating their own record label
At the end of 2014 they released their latest album of ALL NEW SONGS – “Hang On?”, following up on the success of their “Greatest hit…s” in 2013, and marking 20 years of being a Genuine, Home Grown, DIY, Grass Roots, Hard Working, British Band.
2016 will see the band embark on a 10 date uk tour…..
