There ain’t no party like a Lawnmower party. Well bar S Club, but anyway……..Now entering its fourth festive period, the annual Lawnmower Christmas knees up is back. Following two years sell out shows in 2014 at London Underworld and 2013 at Nottingham Rescue Rooms, this year the game has to be upped.
Going back to their heritage the UK crossover ‘legends’ will headline Nottingham Rock City on Saturday 19th December. This not only will be the bands Christmas show but also feature as part of the home of metals 35th anniversary celebrations.
Support will come from Acid Reign and a shed load more! LMD have already threatened to be late on stage given the fact that they will down the front for this and not doing any of the nonsense preparation you’re supposed to do before a headlining show.
Also on the bill, well IT’S A PARTY, will be Slade UK, the UKs Number 1 Slade tribute. Iiiitttssssss Christmas.
Bringing the horns will be Lawnmowers very own chums and fellow bake off fans, the mighty Beholder. Bringing the punk rock will be newly reformed UK hardcore and Fat Wreck recording artists, Consumed.
And opening the proceedings will be young upstarts and champions of The Balls, Reign of Fury. Already announced for Bloodstock 2015, Wildfire Festival (Scotland) 2015 and Camden Rocks Festival 2015, it’s Lawnmowers perfect way of seeing the festivities in. Loudly, with a lot of friends and with a copious amount of Stella on the rider.
