THIS SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED.

Here’s a statement from the band:

“We regret to announce at this time that Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts will not be able to perform the upcoming UK and European dates tour dates scheduled for September/October 2015 with the exception of the show in London at The Garage on Sept 03rd which will stay in place.

Scott and the band, along with management want the fans to know that this decision was not made lightly, but as it stood, the tour dates had far too many administration and production issues to overcome, and ultimately the fan experience would have been far below what Scott feels his loyal fans deserve.

Again, we apologize to our fans and appreciate their understanding in this matter.”

Rocketing to the forefront of the music world in 1992, Scott Weiland has become one of music’s most highly respected and prolific artists. As the front man for Stone Temple Pilots, Weiland has remained a dominant force in rock music since the group’s inception. Now, with his sophomore solo release, Weiland proves that his music and song-writing is as potent and powerful as ever. HAPPY IN GALOSHES, produced by Scott Weiland and Doug Grean [Velvet Revolver, Sheryl Crow, Crystal Method], with selected tracks recorded by Steve Albini, features a collection of songs that bring a revitalizing sound to Weilands highly praised and unique musical style.

After rocketing to fame as the frontman for grunge-era favorites Stone Temple Pilots, singer Scott Weiland later mounted a solo career and joined the supergroup Velvet Revolver. Born October 27, 1967, in Santa Cruz, California, he spent his first 15 years outside of Cleveland before moving back to the West Coast and immersing himself in the thriving Orange County punk scene. Weiland founded the band Mighty Joe Young with guitarist Robert DeLeo in 1987; later rechristened Stone Temple Pilots, the group became one of the biggest acts of the mid-’90s, following the lead of artists like Nirvana and Pearl Jam and topping the charts with an angst-ridden hard rock sound. We can’t wait for such an iconic legend to come to our Main Hall!
