Famously led by vocalist Bob Geldof, THE BOOMTOWN RATS are an Irish New Wave band that had a series of Irish and UK hits between 1977 and 1985, breaking up in 1986. Returning to the scene this year, THE BOOMTOWN RATS are coming to the Rock City Main Room in what promises to be a once in a life time night.
“Playing again with the Rats and doing those great songs again will be exciting afresh. We were an amazing band and I just feel it’s the right time to re-Rat, to go back to Boomtown for a visit” – Bob Geldof.
