When Jay formed this tribute act in 2006 he never dreamed he would be paying
homage to what would become one of rock’s legendary bands.
Foo Fighters (Dave Grohl’s band) played 2 sell out shows back in 2008 at Wembley
stadium in the United Kingdom, since then Jay has watched them tour the globe
collecting multiple awards along the way.
At every turn Jay has not only questioned the point/purpose of his tribute band but particularly,
his own ability to emulate a front man with as much charisma and energy on stage
as Dave Grohl. What truly drives his passion today is the music and performing live.
That coupled with the overwhelming feedback he receives following every performance,
that surprises even him. Oh…. and to help spread some live Foo around the planet of course
(even though Dave and the guys have that well and truly covered already).
Jay and the rest of his UK Foo Fighters (Arron, Alex & Jamie) have performed at
numerous festivals, corporate events, weddings, private parties and even ‘Garage Tour’
stops (just like the Foos) across the UK and Europe, sharing bills with acts such as
Feeder and BBC Radio One DJ – Zane Lowe.
